A visit to Rainbow Dreams Cottage gives you a chance to experience for yourself what makes the Big Island the most Hawaiian island.

- The cottage has three lanais (porches) and an additional outdoor shower, which is great for washing off the sand after a day at the black sand beach.

Clean sheets, towels and all necessary basic kitchen supplies will be provided. Laundry can be done locally in Pahoa or Hilo. There is no laundry facility on the premises.
If you wish to have the cottage cleaned periodically, we can arrange for maid service for an additional $100 per week.

E N E R G Y
Rainbow Dreams Cottage is located in an alternative energy area. Solar power provides energy for indoor lights at night and other power needs during the day. Solar power works extremely well except for high-demand devices such as hair dryers, curling irons, clothes irons, etc. which will not work.

In addition, there is no T.V., cell phone or internet (truly heaven) - REALLY REALLY. Don't ask. If you have any questions about solar power at the cottage, please call us.
